Rising 6th-Getting Started
Information You Need
Welcome Rising 6th Grade Families,
We would like to extend a warm welcome to our rising 6th-grade students and their families. We are so excited that you will be joining us at Pinckneyville Middle School next year. Our teachers and staff look forward to spending three productive years with you.
Stay in the Know
Each week the Pinckneyville eNewsletter is sent to all parent emails of registered students. The newsletter includes school news, important reminders, PTA messages, etc.
To ensure you stay connected to what's happening at Pinckneyville Middle School, please be sure you have your Parent Square account activated and notifications set appropriately. All weekly newsletters will be communicated through Parent Square.
Performing Arts at Pinckneyville
Hello Future Pinckneyville Middle School Students! If you select one of these year-long Connections classes, please remember that Band, Chorus, and Orchestra require a financial obligation to participate. Consider the cost of instrument rental, supply fees, uniform costs, etc. While no child will be turned away from any music program due to financial reasons, both parents and students need to understand the commitment needed to participate in these year-long classes.
By the way, YOU DO NOT NEED ANY PRIOR MUSICAL EXPERIENCE to be part of our programs. We will teach you everything that you need to know about playing an instrument, singing, reading music and working as a team. You will have a great time and make life-long friends! We hope you consider joining us next year.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have questions.
